Galactus vs. Godzilla

     Alright, I finished this about an hour ago (7:15 p.m. on 05/19/2014).  This is another picture that came about while putting something else I was working on to the side.  I wanted to get it finished before the release of Godzilla, but the cityscape took to long for me to draw, so I missed it.
     What I was going for was basically a stand off; Godzilla, in mid rampage as the “Alpha Predator” that the film dubbed him as, is confronted by Galactus, who has arrived to devour the Earth and runs into the King of Monsters.
     Godzilla prepares to fire his Atomic Breath, and in response, Galactus powers up to deliver a cosmic blast, strong enough to kill the Kaiju, but weak enough to leave the planet intact for his feast.
