Runway Model

     Boy, I'm nocking these out faster and faster these days.  Well, let's get started.

     So, this is another illustration I had sitting around and decided to digitize it.   Consequently, I can see folders in my artwork file that I plan on doing in the future.  *hmph*

      Here's the digitized version of the model via Sketchbook Pro.

      Now, I needed a background because I couldn't leave it bare.  Well, I could, but I didn't want to.  So, this is the beginning of what would eventually become the model runway.

      Here's the picture in Paint.net.  Like all the other times, I used Paint.net because of the tools I don't have available in Sketchbook Pro.

     And this is the picture of the runway colored.  I thought it looked stupid & out of place, so I re did it.

     And here's the finalized version.  I put everything together in Paint.net, as apposed to Photoshop like I normally do.

Yasmin Warsame

This is a reference of Yasmin Warsame, another model I found at gorgeousblackwomen.blogspot.com/.  I worked on this picture for a while, both at work, and at home.  This is the finalized version of the pencil rendering, and ultimately was the version I like the most personally.

Here's what I got when I started coloring it with Paint.net.  I didn't like this at all, but I held on too it anyway.

This came out better than the last, but I still didn't really like it.  Also done in Paint.net, and, at this point, I was almost ready too give up on it.

And then I bought Sketchbook Pro.  This program made a world of difference.  I appreciate the training I got with Paint.net, but I just appreciate the results of Sketchbook Pro more.

Pin-up reference Re-up

I don't know the name of this model, but I found her at http://gorgeousblackwomen.blogspot.com/.  I started the sketch at home, did a little on break at work, and finished when I returned home.  The picture in the background is the flag of Kenya.

I didn't like the amount of muscle tone in her arms and back, so I decided too retry on my day off.
This one came out a lot better IMO.

Her arms & back aren't as masculine, and I made some changes too the flag.  I decided too go ahead and try and paint this second one.

And here you have the end result, finished in Sketchbook Pro.
