I had two others, but I decided to redo them. I’ll post them later on.

While I was gone.
For a lot of reasons I won’t get into, I was unable to update the site until now. But, during that time, I was still busy making new pieces of artwork.
One of the things I was up to was updating my graphic design portfolio. This was one of the various pieces I did. The image itself is of different pieces of a few cell phone images I found online. The text was done in Photoshop Elements.
While I was doing those graphic design pieces, I thought of a few design ideas I could start doing, instead of always doing illustration & digital coloring. I’m a big fan of combat sports, and this is what almost immediately popped into my head. The color scheme is obviously taken from the NBA logo, and I started on the next one right afterwards.
Here are the next few I followed up with. Pretty good if I do say so myself. I’m gonna be following up on these at some point, making more as I have the time.
I did this one based off of a picture I saw in GQ Magazine. It was a pictorial about a famous UK race driver. I hadn’t planned on finishing this once I started, but, I kept going, and didn’t want to start over later. Once I finished, I wished I had recorded it.
And here’s where I really got mad at myself. I did this about a day later, same story as before. I started doing this as practice, got going, and didn’t want to turn back. Before I even finished, I started regretting not recording this. From here on out, I’ll try to start recording, even during practice just in case.
This piece was based off of an advertisement in a magazine that came to my house. Around the 1:30 mark, give of take, you can see a jump in the pieces progression. While recording the video, my PC crashed, and I lost the footage. The music in the video is from Esperanza Spalding, from the albums Chamber Music Society & Radio Music Society.
I had two others, but I decided to redo them. I’ll post them later on.
