Byplay Cogitate

     I did this one before, and decided to redo it, along with another piece.  I used the back cover of Teedra Moses’ Luxurious Undergrind Compilation album from 2011.  I actually finished the piece and made a video to accompany it & everything.  I still have it, but decided to go into a different direction.  I really like this more than the other, a real improvement in my opinion.  The jewelry in this piece was inspired by pieces on Afriquelachic.com, specifically this one, Ghanian Blook Tribal African Necklace, http://www.afriquelachic.com/Products/Mens-African-Jewelry/2607/Ghanian-Blook-Tribal-African-Necklace/, and this one, Gye Nyame Adinkra Beaded Necklace, http://www.afriquelachic.com/Products/Mens-African-Jewelry/2592/Gye-Nyame-Adinkra-Beaded-Necklace/.  The first track in the video is "One In A Million" from Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth off the Poetic Justice OST.  The second is "Come Close" from Common off his Electric Circus album.
